Counselling and Psychotherapy
What is the difference between Psychotherapy & Counselling?
This is the most commonly asked question.
Psychotherapy and Counselling are both therapies to help you understand and deal with difficult or problematic thoughts and emotions.
Counselling helps to resolve contaminated thinking, looking to build upon a person’s existing resources.
Psychotherapy works at a deeper level to de-confuse the unconscious mind, helping us to make new sense of old experiences and change past decisions which are having a negative effect on the present.
Juliette Willett offers Counselling and Psychotherapy at ICOM. Her experience includes working with adults, couples and children (aged 13+), both within private practice, the NHS, as part of crime reduction initiatives and within schools.
