Lucy Lines

A head and shoulders photograph of Lucy Lines, Acupuncturist at ICOM Clinic

Lucy first studied a Bachelor of Science Degree from Edinburgh University. Following this, she pursued her passion for understanding human connection and emotional well-being by completing a year of intensive training in Counselling and Psychotherapy at WPF Therapy Ltd. These disciplines gave her a depth of insight into the mind-body connection, both scientifically and on the human level. Lucy’s formal acupuncture education involved four rigorous years of study in Classical Acupuncture at ICOM.

Her own experience profoundly shaped Lucy’s path to becoming an acupuncturist. Over five years, she regularly received acupuncture treatments during her fertility journey. This personal experience was transformative and it was this first hand understanding of acupuncture’s power to heal and support that inspired her to dedicate her life to this practice.

Lucy has a particular interest in how acupuncture, alongside Western medicine, can support mental health, specifically anxiety and depression. This deep dive into the integration of complementary and conventional approaches underpins her commitment to helping others to achieve emotional equilibrium. She is a proud member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), adhering to the highest standards of professional conduct and continuous development in the UK.

Lucy is available on Fridays.

BSc, Lic.Ac, MBAcC
